This past weekend I had the honor in photographing the most beautiful Rustic Sunflower themed Bridal Shower at Our House Restaurant in Farmingdale NJ. Prior to the Bride-to-be, Isamar's arrival I captured some pre-event photos of the beautiful decorations. It was as if every detail, small or large was so carefully though-out and it came together with perfection. I'm not at all being bias just because my BFF Celeste did a lot of the decor planning. She even constructed a backdrop setup for photos with just the right amount of sunflowers hanging to tie effortlessly into the theme. The centerpieces added the perfect rustic feel and was so simplistically executed. I was especially blown away by the dessert table that had the most delicious treats of Chocolate covered: strawberries, Oreos, pretzels, and rice crispy treats, in addition with Cake pops, and my personal favorite...S'mores. However, the absolute best little feature was the tiny delicate flowers placed on the desserts.

Its usually the littlest details that gets the guests attention and makes for great memories...
When Isamar arrived you could immediately feel the love in the room. This makes my job so easy to capture those candid moments when she was interacting and greeting her guests. It was evident that she is truly blessed and surrounded by women who are genuinely happy for her.
Candid photos are great for story telling. My hope is that one day Isamar and her family can look back at this day and remember every detail just by the photos captured.
Candid photos is truly my favorite type of photography, but there is nothing wrong with staged posed formal shots. The venue had a beautiful courtyard area which was perfect for some portraits shots of the bride-to-be and we managed to have some fun with her bridesmaids as well.
And last but definitely not least...the Happy couple!
These two souls have such an awesome connection and I could not be more excited for them and this new chapter in there lives.
